Summer Gardener Found, Welcome Selena!

We are delighted to announce that Selena Russo will be joining the team at the Cruickshank Botanic Garden for 14 weeks over the summer, funded by the Friends of the Cruickshank Botanic Garden. Selena has recently graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Conservation Biology, and hopes to undertake a masters degree in the future. Having been working in the gardens as a volunteer for some time now, she started her new full-time position on Monday 3rd June, and will remain part of the team until the 6th of September.

On accepting the position she said ‘I am very excited to start at the gardens on Monday. Thank you and the panel for this opportunity, and many thanks to Friends of Cruickshank for financing this position.’ We are delighted to have Selena on board, and wish her the very best!
